FAQs
-
To begin a commission, reach out via the contact form for an initial consultation. Before doing so, consider taking time to gather inspiration for your piece. Be prepared to discuss the size of the canvas and any other details that may matter to you. If details aren’t your thing, we can figure out something that’s more hands-off
If, after the initial consultation, you’d like to officially book a commission a 50% deposit will be required.

I work with you to create a beautiful work of art in both our eyes. We can begin by creating initial sketches and sharing inspiration notes.
Afterward I start from scratch, building and stretching the canvas, keeping you updated throughout the process with photos.
-
At a certain point, details will be finalized and your piece will come to life! Depending on size, and shipping location the canvas will be sent either on the backing board or rolled for additional framing. You’ll be notified when shipping takes place and will be given a tracking number.
Shipping will take place after confirming your satisfaction with the work and receipt of final deposit.

Of Course! My goal during the commission process is to work within my style to create your perfect piece of art. Let’s let the ideas flow. Though, once a decision has been finalized, it’s up to the artist to create and art to speak for itself
-
Each work of art is very different and therefore each commission duration is unique. Depending on the details discussed in the initial consultation, anywhere from 4-12 weeks can be expected
-
Nope! But please do come prepared with your ideas for the piece

This will ultimately depend on what you’d like to create together. By the end of the initial consultation, I’ll be able to provide a concrete number for you to consider further.
Regardless of price, commissions require a 50% deposit to continue beyond an initial consultation. After the work is completed, payment of the remainder will initiate shipment of the work.
-
At each consultation during the commission process I work diligently to ensure your vision is well understood and executed. If the final product doesn’t fit your vision, you are not required to purchase the work. Your deposit can be applied toward available works in the collection, or another unique commission
